Description

The Notifier NC-100R is a commercial addressable relay module designed for compatible Notifier FireWarden Series fire alarm control panels. It provides two isolated Form-C dry-contact outputs that can be programmed to control a variety of auxiliary devices, including door holders, HVAC equipment, dampers, fans, and other building control functions.

Powered directly from the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), the module features rotary decimal addressing, integral LED status indication, and high EMI/RFI immunity for dependable operation in commercial fire alarm systems. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

Electrical & System Information

The NC-100R operates directly from a compatible 15–32 VDC Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) and requires no external operating power for module electronics or relay operation. Two rotary decimal switches allow simple field addressing before or after installation.

An integral green LED flashes during normal communication with the control panel and remains steadily illuminated when the relay is activated. The module occupies one address on the SLC and automatically reports its device type to the control panel.

Mounting & Design

The NC-100R mounts to a standard 4-inch square electrical box with a minimum depth of 2.125 inches. An optional SMB500 surface-mount backbox is available for surface installations.

Its off-white heat-resistant enclosure, clamping plate terminals, and front-access rotary address switches simplify installation and servicing while providing dependable long-term operation.
