Description

The Potter Electric MBA-10-24 Powered Bell is a vibrating bell design for use as a fire, burglar, or general signaling device and features a low power consumption and high decibel rating. In addition, the MBA-10-24 mounts on a standard 4″ square electrical box for indoor use or on a model BBK-1 weatherproof backbox of BBX-1 deep weatherproof backbox for outdoor applications.

Also, the Potter Electric MBA-10-24 Powered Bell have low power consumption and high decibel ratings. Moreover, the minimum dB ratings calculate from integrate a sound pressure made at Underwriters Laboratories as specify in UL Standard 464. UL temperature range is -30° to 150°F (-34° to 66°C). Typical dB ratings calculate from measurements made with a conventional sound level meter and are indicative of output levels in an actual installation. Not to mention the bells have to heard in all areas as design by the authority having jurisdiction.

Some of the specifications for installation can be describe below, for example:

• The bell shall be install in accordance with NFPA 13, 72, or local AHJ.
• The top of the device shall be no less than 90″ AFF and not less than 6″ below the ceiling.
• Remove the gong.
• Connect wiring.
• Mount bell mechanism to backbox
• Reinstall the gong.
• Test all bells for proper operation and review that they can be heard where require.
