The Potter PAD100-RB Addressable Relay Base combines a 6-inch sensor base with an integrated relay module. It provides a practical solution for compatible Potter fire alarm systems that require relay control at the detector base. In addition, its integrated design helps simplify installation and system configuration.

Integrated Form C Relay

The Potter PAD100-RB includes one Form C relay as part of the base assembly. The relay provides normally open, normally closed, and common contacts. Moreover, it operates independently of the sensor attached to the base.

The relay supports a contact rating of 2A at 30VDC or 0.5A at 125VAC. Therefore, technicians can use the base for many compatible fire alarm control applications. The relay can also map to devices connected to the control panel.

Designed for Potter Fire Alarm Systems

This addressable relay base connects to the Signaling Line Circuit, or SLC. However, the base does not consume an SLC loop address. It also does not require an auxiliary power source. As a result, the unit offers a convenient way to add relay functionality without using another device address.

The base also supports Class A, Class X, and Class B wiring. Furthermore, its terminals accept wire sizes from 22 to 12 AWG.

The base measures approximately 6.3 inches in diameter and 0.75 inches in height without a detector. Its operating temperature range extends from 32°F to 120°F. In addition, it supports relative humidity levels from 0% to 93% in non-condensing environments.
