Description

The Potter TRM-4 Twin Relay Module provides two isolated Form C relay contacts for compatible addressable fire alarm systems. The module allows a fire alarm control panel to activate external equipment based on programmed system events. In addition, its compact design makes it suitable for many commercial fire alarm control applications.

Dual Form C Relay Control

The Potter TRM-4 includes two isolated sets of Form C contacts. Both relay contacts transfer simultaneously when the control panel activates the module. Therefore, one module can control two relay outputs from a single programmed SLC address.

Each relay provides normally open, normally closed, and common connections. Moreover, the contacts support a resistive rating of 2A at 24 VDC or 0.5A at 125 VAC.

Addressable SLC Operation

The module receives power directly from the two-wire SLC loop. As a result, it does not require an additional power source for module operation. The device uses one address on the SLC loop.

A built-in red LED provides visual status information. During normal operation, the LED flashes when the control panel polls the device. When the relay activates, the LED can provide an active status indication.
