Description

The Siemens MH-501 Manual Release Station is a double-action station that contains one (1) normally open contact. Also, the Siemens MH-501 is intend for use with Siemens – Fire Safety low-voltage systems but has a rating of 120VAC for connection to other systems. The Model MH-501 Manual Releasing Station is constructed of durable, molded polycarbonate material, matte-finished in red with raised lettering in white.

The housing incorporates a ‘push-in’ tab, which must be initially operate, permitting access to the ‘pull-down’ lever. When operated, the lever – in turn – locks in position after releasing a spring-loaded contact switch.  Restoring the system to Normal can only be accomplish by opening the cover of the hinged housing with the reset key, and then closing and locking the cover.  Model MH-501 is construct with a mold housing, fitt with a ‘pull-down’ lever and a ‘push-in’ tab.

Since the Manual Release Station is ‘dual-action type; it is necessary to initially operate the ‘push-in’ tab to provide access to the ‘pulldown’ lever. When operated, the ‘pull-down’ lever locks in position after releasing a springloaded contact switch to engage the actuation of the release circuit.
