Siemens ZR-HMC-CW

The Siemens notification appliances feature an easy snap-on base. Designed to simplify the installation and testing of horns, strobes, and horn/strobes. The separate Series Z snap-on base i s pre-wired. The circuit wiring i s fully tested b efore the appliance i s installed. And b efore the walls a re covered. The appliance can b e simply installed by snapping it on the base. Shorting contacts in the base, which provide continuity for circuit testing, ar e permanently opened.

Wh en the appliance i s installed; any subsequent removal of the appliance. Indicates a trouble condition on that circuit at the control panel. Wh en circuit supervision i s enabled. The same base i s used for all Series Z horns and strobes. And horn/strobes to provide consistent installation; easy replacement of appliances if required. A locking screw included for the appliance to provide extra secure installation.

The Siemens appliances incorporate the same dependable circuitry and high-efficiency optics Used in Siemens ST strobes, NS horn/strobes. And NH horns have the same high-performance ratings. The Series Z appliances “Special Applications” a re listed with Siemens panels.
