The Snaphat M4T32-BR12SH6 i s a detachable lithium power source for ST’s serial real-time clock. They a re an on-volatile TIMEKEEPER® surface-mount SOIC package (28- and 44-pin). The Snaphat M4T32-BR12SH6 contains the battery and crystal. And i s designed to b e “snapped on” after the SOIC surface i s mounted on the PC board. The two-piece solution prevents the battery and crystal from b eing exposed. To the high Snaphat temperatures of the surface-mount process.
