Optimized for mounting on steel pipe and delivers reliable switch monitoring of water flow for fire-alarm initiation.
Vane-type detection mechanism: Physical vane inserted into the pipe responds to water flow, triggering the device when flow reaches a threshold (~4-10 GPM depending on pipe size).
Mechanical delay: A sealed mechanical delay mechanism reduces false alarms from pressure surges, air in the system, or transient flows.
Rugged, weather-resistant housing: Enclosure is rated NEMA 4 and designed for indoor/outdoor use.
Dual SPDT (Form C) switch outputs: Provides two fully-supervised switch contacts (typically one for panel input, one for local audible/visual notification) for installation flexibility.
Wide pipe compatibility: Model supports steel pipe schedule 10-40 sizes 2″ through 4″ (and up in some variants).
