Description

Overall, the Siemens RR-3S P/n: 500-694942 is a remote detector relay.

Mounting and wiring the RR-3S:

1. Mount the Siemens RR-3S Relay assembly to the rear of the base as shown in Figure 1,using the screws supplied.
2. Use a 4-inch square, deep outlet box for the detector base. Route all wires outward from the outlet box.
3. Route the black and yellow wires from the relay assembly and detector wiring through the cross cuts in the center of the base.
4. Mount the base to the outlet box and make the connections directly to the base terminals.
5. Terminate the yellow wire from the RR-3S at terminal 1b on the base and the black wire from RR-3S at terminal 6 on the base.
6. Do not use a remote lamp with base when the RR-3S is used.
